22 AWESOME USES FOR VASELINE

1. To Define Lashes Or As A Clear Mascara
If you’re embracing the no makeup look, You don't need mascara to get those lush lashes. Trade in your mascara for Vaseline. Apply a little Vaseline to your lashes gives you fuller set of dark, shiny, glossy eyelashes and it also makes them look longer and more voluminous. Vaseline also makes a great lash conditioner.

2. To Hide Split Ends
If your hair looks totally fried, You can moisturize and mask damage by smoothing a small amount of Vaseline over split ends. You can fake smooth
ends until you get a haircut. But be careful! Don't use too much or it'll turn your hair into a greasy mess.

3. To Help Remove Lash Glue
Tugging on those false lashes at the end of the night is bad for the delicate skin around your eyes. Smudge some Vaseline into your lash line with a cotton swab. Wait a few minutes and then carefully peel away.

4. Perfect Your Mani And Soothe Dry Cuticles
Use a pea-size amount of Vaseline to line all ten fingers before you paint them to keep colour off of the skin around your nails. Also apply Vaseline to your cuticles to soften and soothe scraggly, cracked cuticles.

5. To Make A Lip Or Body Scrub
Dry lips? Mix ordinary sugar with an eighth of a teaspoon of Vaseline to create a quick lip scrub. It'll help get rid of any flakes and also create a supersmooth canvas for lip color. To exfoliate your whole body, mix it with sea salt, and use the mixture in the shower as a body scrub with moisturising benefits.

6. To Prevent Self-Tanning Mishaps
Use a small amount of Vaseline on dry spots  such as ankles, elbows, knees, and wrists before applying self-tanner. The ointment will act as a barrier cream on these trouble areas preventing streaks, stains and uneven absorption for a more natural looking glow.

7.  Moisturize Your Face
Vaseline is noncomedogenic, making it OK to use as a face cream without worrying about clogged pores. But, if you're acne-prone, talk to your dermatologist before doing this.

8. To Tame Your Brows
Smoothing some Vaseline over your brows will keep them in place all day. ( They won't move all day long). Dab the pad of your ring finger in the jar, rub two fingertips together to distribute the formula, and then smooth
it over your arches.

9. To Protect A Sore Nose
If you're having a cold or allergies,  sore nose often gets red and chapped. Dab a bit of Vaseline around your nostrils to add moisture back.

10. Keep Nail Polish Lids From Drying Shut.
We love a good manicure but hate struggling to unscrew the cap of our nail polish. Spread Vaseline around the inside of the polish lid for super-
easy opening next time you use it.

11. Keep Perfume From Fading
Moisturized skin holds scent better. Rub some Vaseline on your wrists and behind your ears to make your perfume last longer.

12. To Help Heal A Sunburn
If you forgot to reapply your SPF at the beach and are paying the price with painful, red skin. Apply Vaseline to the affected area, it’ll help lock in moisture to your dried-out skin and prevent peeling.

13. Make Your Legs Glow
Mix Vaseline with your favorite liquid bronzer. Spread the formula on your legs for a shiny, glowy look.

14. To Boost The Effectiveness Of Your Serum
Vaseline prevents moisture evaporation, so dotting Vaseline over your eye serum or face cream can double the strength of the first layer's ingredients. But don't apply over powerful products, it may irritate your skin.

15. To highlight cheekbones. We love our essences, our highlighters,
and our illuminators, but this is a supereasy (and way more
budget-friendly) way to get glowing skin: Dab a bit of Vaseline
on your cheekbones for a dewy finish

16. Protect Your Skin From Hair Dye
It's hard to convince people that your hair is naturally red if you have
patches of hair color on your forehead or around your ears. Slick some dabs of Vaseline along your hairline before dyeing, it blocks the color from seeping into your skin, and the dye will stain the jelly, not your skin.

17. Soothe Dry Heels
Sandals plus the sun can transform even the softest heels into a scratchy, super dry, flaky mess. Smooth Vaseline over cracked heels before you go to
bed, and then put on some socks, You'll wake up with soft, smooth skin.

18. Remove Makeup Stains From Clothing
  With a damp washcloth, Vaseline can be used to lift makeup stains from your clothes pillows, blankets, and sheets.

19. Eye Makeup Remover
 Makeup remover can be expensive. Vaseline is an inexpensive option that easily and gently removes eyeliner, mascara and even eye shadow.

20. To Aid Earring Insertion.
 If you don’t wear earrings regularly can make those holes  become troublesome and putting those studs in can be surprisingly painful. Rub your lobes with a little Vaseline beforehand to help it slide in painlessly. Vaseline also takes off stuck-on rings.

21. To Help Prevent Chafing
Apply a small amount of Vaseline to any area that's prone to chafing to prevent irritation or rashes.

22. Polish Shoes
Buff a little Vaseline onto boots, shoes, bags, and any other leather goods that need polishing.
